Day 3-Katakolon…More Pesca and Beer!

Steve and I made it to shore in Katakolon and decided that against a bus ride with 3000 of our ‘closest friends’ – that’s how many passengers on this megaship.

So we strolled down to the town to see what the local people were up to. We had fun telling everyone that we didn’t want to buy any touristy things. We passed by the train that goes to Olympia and just decided not to take the trip on a raining day - bad weather has followed us from Venice. L

We didn’t care about getting too wet, so we walked the town and found a gravesite up along the cliffs of Katakolon and were able to take some nice pictures.

We came back to town and as expected found a wonderful seaside restaurant where we dined our hearts out to more …you guessed it… Fish!  I find that there are a large number of cats at these areas who are always looking for a bit of a handout. Of course I refuse to do this as I do not want to encourage them but they are pretty Purrsistent.  We went back to the ship went took a nap and freshened up before the Captain’s reception and ‘dress up’ formal dinner.
